Packing:
Comfortable hiking shoes, light leisure clothing including light long pants for the evenings, bathing suits, rain jacket/poncho, mosquito repellent and sunscreen. A hat, sunglasses and long sleeve sun shirts are recommended.

Day 1: Travel From Panama City
Depart from Panama City, Panama towards the Azuero Peninsula in the Los Santos province. Approximately a 5 hr drive seeing the Panamanian countryside and enjoying the ride. Welcome dinner and drinks await.

Day 2: Petroglyph Trail Ride
Have a relaxing morning, check out the beach and take a dip in the Pacific. Breakfast is included and we encourage you to explore the local restaurants for lunch. That afternoon we’ll pick you up and we’ll head out to see the coastline on a backcountry horseback ride. Ride along the beach before turning up through rolling hills with scenic overlooks to a mystic archeological site. Ancient indigenous petroglyphs tell a unique story of the countryside and overlook the valley below. We’ll end the evening with a group dinner and prepare for our adventure early the next day.
Day 3: Cerro Hoya and Sierra Waterfall
Light breakfast before we leave by boat from Cambutal to travel along one of the most remote coastlines of Panama. On the way, we can see marine life like whales, turtles, marlin, and tuna. We arrive in the port of Lajas at our satellite location where we drive 4x4 upriver through the jungle to a remote multi-level waterfall with various pools. We eat lunch in the jungle before returning to Rio Lajas Cabins. We have a home cooked dinner and bonfire before going to bed.
Day 4: Rio Lajas Beach Day
Have a relaxing tropical beach day exploring the remote beaches that host sea caves and tidepools. Fishing trips and other activities can be arranged if requested. End the day with dinner and a beach bonfire.
Day 5: Cambutal Day
Early wake up, to enjoy a sunrise coffee overlooking the sea cliffs of Lajas. Have a light breakfast before packing in the boat and heading back to Cambutal. We’ll take you back to your hotel where you can relax and enjoy the afternoon. That evening we’ll end the day with a traditional Panamanian cultural music and dance experience.
Day 6: Depart back to Panama City
Enjoy a light breakfast before you head back to Panama City.
